Strategic Aid
Strategic Aid operates globally to deter and detect strategic attacks against Christianity.
Strategic Aid has a functional mission focused on addressing circumstances across the globe as the UCC’s Christian security advocate. Strategic Aid supports all other Communal Party operations by providing, strengthening, and rebuilding foundation and capabilities as needed. Strategic Aid pursues the UCC's objectives of: being global peacemakers; enhancing Christian fellowship and ministry partnerships; enhancing immediate readiness for ministry; and bearing posterior Christian fellowship.
Christian posterity requires Strategic Aid to focus on immediate ministry readiness. Peacemaking is essential to the kingdom of God. Reconciliation to God (2 Corinthians 5:18), the blessedness of the peacemakers (Matthew 5:9), and peace with adversaries in this world (Proverbs 16:7) are at the core of Strategic Aid. The UCC’s overseers and ministers must be in a ready and decisive posture to bear the burden of the ministry.
Strategic Aid is focused specifically on UCC objectives as a global ministry. The purpose is to maintain the Holy Spirit’s momentum, by bringing forth completion of righteous actions which will keep us on the path of assuring a resilient, equipped, and trained ministry‐ready fellowship.
Strategic Aid provides single-minded and sensible approaches to peacemaking in the Name of Jesus. The UCC is committed to building a malleable global ministry oversight in anticipation of peacemaking challenges.
The Overseer of Merged Ministries serves as Strategic Aid Overseer, and as advisor reporting directly to the Overseer of Communal Overseer of Ministers regarding Strategic Aid missions. Strategic Aid responsibilities are carried out under oversight of the Overseer of Operational Element Ministry, Overseer of Communal Action Party, Overseer of Sub-Merged Ministry, and Overseer of Missions Element Ministry.
