ABOUT

Rev. Oscar Rivera

Greetings! My name is Rev. Oscar Rivera. I was born and raised in Queens, New York. I came to know the Lord as my personal Lord and savior in 1994, and have been actively involved in church ministry since 1996. My beautiful bride, Kerin, and I wed in 2001. In 2003 the Lord called us to Christian missions, and we have been actively involved in loving people for the Lord ever since. I am ordained through the Independent Assemblies of God International (IAOGI) since 2008. Northwest Arkansas became our home base in 2012. We continue to travel as part of our missionary calling, and enjoy supporting and assisting men and women who minister the grace of God through Jesus Christ to a fallen world.

Why Pure Heart

The Lord gives us understanding of His kingdom for Christian life and doctrine:

1. To apply the understanding to our own lives in all godly wisdom.

2. To teach others so they would have the same opportunity.

The Goal

1 Timothy 4:16 tells us "Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers."

It is my heart's desire for men and women to honor God with their lives "everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting" (1 Timothy 2:8).
