One of the tasks the Jews had was to rebuild the temple. God is building His new temple (Romans 12:5).

Elisha’s response to Elijah’s calling was to drop everything and follow him. Jesus’ disciples had a similar response to His call.

In Psalm 22 David expressed the feeling that God abandoned him, and he lamented for it. Jesus repeated it while he was hanging on the cross.

Being in favor with God means to please Him, as Apostle Paul explained in 1 Thessalonians 4:1-12.

Joshua’s army was armed for physical battle, but Jesus’ followers are armed for spiritual battle.

Promised Land / Paradise.

He was a blessing even to those who hurt him.

Believers are blessed with every spiritual blessing.

Through this son, God would bless all the nations.

We too know this world will end. God reveals how to live in preparation for His coming judgment.

Because Adam sinned, the good world created by God became corrupt. Christ fixes what Adam ruined.
